Buachaille Etive Mor
The sentinel of Glen Coe soars proudly from the peaty moor. Buachaille Etive Mor, a pyramid
of rock and scree has steep turrets and
buttresses beloved by rockclimbers.
This image taken early one winters morning, shows the gateway to Glen Coe when travelling North. The mountain affectionately named as the Shepherd of
Etive, is given its name from nearby Glen Etive.

The Cuillin Hills
Part of the Cuillin range of hills showing the peaks of BLA BHEINN and GARBH -BHEINN taken from the shores of Loch Slapin.
The Cuillins are considered to be the grandest mountains in all Britain. The skyline bristles with Munros in the shape of abrupt towers of rock, poised above precipitous cliffs and deep corries.

Landscape Poster No. PO 11

Rannoch Moor
Rannoch Moor is a desolation fashioned by Nature. A  thousand feet above sea level and 60 square miles in extent, the moor is a vast tableland.
Before the distant Grampian mountains is the
silence and solitude, the deer, heather and bog myrtle, all contributing to this no-man's land.
Here is desolation with a subtle beauty.
